- How are raw vegan pastries different from baked ones?
- Raw vegan pastries never see an oven — ingredients stay under 42°C / 108°F, preserving vitamins and enzymes. Our baked vegan range (under "Vegan pastries") is also animal-free but goes through heat, with a texture closer to classic pastries. Both ranges skip refined sugar and animal ingredients.
- How many calories does a raw vegan pastry have?
- About 350–450 kcal per 100 g — similar to a classic pastry, but the calories come from nuts, fruit and healthy oils rather than white flour and sugar. They are more satiating, so a smaller portion satisfies.
- Are they sweeter than classic pastries?
- Usually less sweet. We use agave syrup or dates in small amounts, with most sweetness coming from fresh fruit. Many customers rediscover the natural taste of ingredients this way.
- Do they go well with coffee?
- Yes, beautifully. The creamy textures and intense flavours (coconut, pistachio, raw chocolate) pair very well with espresso or herbal tea.
- Do they contain animal proteins (eggs, honey)?
- No. The standard version is 100% vegan — no eggs, no honey, no dairy. On request we can swap agave for honey; note this in your order if you prefer it.
