Refund policy

1. Cancellation before delivery

You can cancel an order at least 2 calendar days before the delivery or pickup date. Within this window, you'll receive a full refund via the same payment method used at checkout.

After this deadline, production has already begun (some recipes require maturation, dehydration or manual decoration) and cancellation is no longer possible. For exceptional situations, write to us at contact@deliciisanatoase.ro.

2. Why there's no withdrawal right after delivery

Delicii Sănătoase products are perishable foods made to order. Under EU and Romanian law, the standard 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to:

• Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (art. 16(d) of GEO no. 34/2014, transposing EU Directive 2011/83).
• Goods made to the customer's specifications (e.g. custom cakes).

These are statutory exceptions that apply to all online retailers of perishable food.

3. Quality defects

If the product you receive has quality defects (transport damage, altered taste or texture, contents different from what was ordered), write to us within 24 hours of delivery/pickup, with:

• The order number.
• A description of the problem.
• Clear photos of the product and packaging.

We review the situation, and if the defect is confirmed we'll agree together on replacement, partial refund or full refund.

4. Refunds

Refunds are issued via the same payment method used at checkout (Stripe, for card payments). The refund deadline is no more than 14 days from the moment we accept the cancellation or complaint. Depending on your issuing bank, the amount may appear in your account 1–7 working days after processing.
