Raw-vegan cakes are our alternative to classic desserts. Made without heat processing, without gluten, without lactose and without refined sugar, using only natural ingredients and natural sweeteners.
Because they are not heat-processed, they keep the nutrients of the ingredients — a dessert that also nourishes. Suitable for birthdays, anniversaries, or simply as a weekend indulgence.
Frequently asked questions
- How is a raw vegan cake different from a classic one?
- Raw vegan cakes are never baked — all ingredients stay below 42°C / 108°F so vitamins, enzymes and healthy fats are preserved. The base is ground nuts (cashews, almonds, hazelnuts), the cream uses soaked cashews and coconut oil, and we sweeten with agave, honey or dates. No flour, eggs, butter or refined sugar.
- Are they suitable for diabetics?
- They can be. On request we swap the agave for green sugar (erythritol/stevia) — a zero-glycemic-index sweetener. Note "for diabetics" in your order and we will adjust. We still recommend talking to your doctor, especially for larger portions.
- Are they suitable for kids?
- Yes, from age 2–3 onward. They have no refined sugar, no artificial colours, no preservatives, and most contain fresh fruit. Mind the allergens — cakes contain nuts and dried fruit. For small-children events we recommend the fruit cake or a custom nut-free option.
- How many portions does a cake serve?
- Roughly: 1 kg serves 8–10, 1.5 kg serves 12–15, 2 kg serves 16–20. For events we plan around 100–120 g of cake per person.
- Can they be frozen?
- Yes. Raw vegan cakes keep up to 1 month frozen, sealed airtight. Thaw in the fridge for 6–8 hours before serving. The creamy texture is preserved.
- Do they contain alcohol or alcohol-based extracts?
- No. All flavourings are natural (Bourbon vanilla, pure extracts, fresh fruit). They are safe for anyone who avoids alcohol for religious or medical reasons.
